What to do in Drôme Provençale?
The Drôme Provençale is a paradise for lovers of outdoor sports and activities in nature. You will not have time to be bored during your holidays with family, group or friends in the Drôme Provençale. Mont Ventoux is a few kilometers from our holiday village in Nyons. You can try the ascent by car, motorbike and the more determined will try the experience by bike. The Mont Ventoux is a must-see in the region for cycle tourists. For those who prefer hiking and walking, many hikes start from Nyons and cross the Baronnies Provençales Regional Natural Park. Our holiday village is located in the heart of this exceptional park.
The Castle of Grignan
In less than 30 minutes, you will be at the Château de Grignan, one of the emblems of the Drôme. Built on a rocky outcrop, watching over the village, the building bears witness to an eventful history. Castle from the 11th century, then it was transformed during the Renaissance into a pleasure house, it was destroyed during the Revolution to be rebuilt in the 20th century. Today, it is classified as a historical monument.
The Castle of Suze-la-Rousse
The medieval fortress of Suze-la-Rousse is built on a rocky promontory. Fabulous military structure with towers and ramparts, the Château de Suze-la-Rousse has been rehabilitated into a large residence. This emblematic place of the Drôme hosts cultural events, concerts and shows.
The Richerenches truffle market
20 kilometers from our family lodgings in Drôme Provençale is the Richerenches truffle market. From December to mid-March, the city comes alive around the truffle market. Truffle growers, brokers, tourists, curious, gourmets and enthusiasts gather around the truffle, also called "Black Diamond".
Vaison-la-Romaine
Between the Rhône Valley and Mont Ventoux, very close to the Dentelles de Montmirail, discover the town of Vaison-la-Romaine and its 2000 years of history. Many visits and historical sites await you: archaeological sites of Puymin and Villasse, Notre-Dame-de-Nazareth Cathedral, the Antique Theater, Roman Bridge, 9 Damoiselles Garden, etc.
The crocodile farm

An hour's drive from our establishment, meet in the city of Avignon. Let yourself be seduced by the City of the Popes.
